This movie is probably the most intense, action-packed movie in the Star Wars Saga. This is one of my favorite episodes, and I must have watched the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan fight at least a thousand times.

General Grievous is really cool, but I have to admit that my favorite character in this is Anakin. I think Anakin is annoying in the first two, but I think in this one, he is totally epic. Padme has a smaller role in this one, and I find her annoying though I am not exactly sure why. Emperor/Chancellor Palpatine is really awesome, and Obi-Wan is still my favorite character. :D Embarrassingly, another of my favorite scenes is when Obi-Wan is giving baby Luke to Owen and Beru. I want to cry, squeal, laugh, and cry again. Then I have to go and watch A New Hope just to make sure that it turns out alright in the end.
This soundtrack is AMAZING. I love it, love it, love it. I listen to this one so much. According to iTunes, I have played Anakin vs. Obiwan 113 times. Some other top pieces are Star Wars and the Revenge of the Sith, Anakin's Dream, Anakin's Dark Deeds, and A New Hope and End Credits.
The movie and soundtrack both get a 10.
AHHH, Revenge of the Sith is my favorite Star Wars movie and my favorite in general!!! :D :D I agree, Obi-Wan is definitely my favorite character(he's so cool!!). I also like Anakin the best in this film, his character was very well done. The battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin is my favorite part of the movie, especially the end of it where Obi-Wan says "You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you." :(
ReplyDeleteI do wish Padme had had a bigger role but since she was so cool in The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, I can let it slide.
I love that quote also. It has so much power in it. Padme was cool in the first two, but she isn't my favorite character.
DeleteMy sentiments are nearly identical to your's; Anakin's character is much improved, I find Padme very annoying, I LOVE Obi-Wan in this as well. And Palpatine is a rockin' bad guy! This is certainly my favorite of the prequels and I think it does a good job tying all six movies together. I'm glad the prequels manage to end on a strong foot.

I actually have never cried watching a movie, and I don't think Order 66 was such a big deal either. Glad we think alike. :D
DeleteObi-Wan is my fav character here to! :D I love Palpatine's evil smile :D SOmetimes I couldn't bring myself to watch it would it would BREAK MY HEART </3 :P But no, I don't cry, I just feel broken.

DeleteThis is my favourite episode!! :D As always, I love Obi-Wan, because all the things he does, specially in the end tu ensure the safety of those Jedi who were able to avoid Order 66. I never liked Anakin's characer, because I've always found him quite annoying, but I do like how he grows darker in this film and all the process til he turns into Vader. In fact it always brings tears to my eyes when Obi-Wan tells him he's the chosen one, and that he wasn't supposed to leave them all to darkness. That's an epic scene!

DeleteI think everybody loves Obi-Wan! He is kind of like Captain America where you can't help liking him. ;D I also like how Anakin grows steadily darker throughout the movie. George Lucas did an excellent job with that! I think that last half hour of Revenge of the Sith is one of the best parts of the whole Star Wars Saga!
DeleteAlthough I like any of the original trilogy movies better, this is my favorite of the prequels also. The duel at the end is one of my favorite fight scenes and Battle of Heroes is probably my favorite track from the tracks from the prequels.
