Have you seen all six of the movies?
I don't think I need to answer this one, do I?

Which is your favorite movie?
Revenge of the Sith, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi win, but I love them all.

What is your favorite scene(s) from the Original Trilogy?
Cloud City is really awesome as well as the end of Return of the Jedi starting when Darth Vader kills Palpatine.

What is your favorite scene(s) from the Prequel Trilogy?
I really like the arena battle and the fight between Anakin and Obiwan in Revenge of the Sith!

Are there any scenes that are really touching to you?
I have a lot... hmm...in the Empire Strikes Back when Han and Leia kiss for the first time; when Luke finds out Darth Vader is his father; when Darth Vader turns back from the Dark Side; the very last scene in Return of the Jedi; when Qui-Gon dies, and this quote.

"You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!"
*snifs*

Have you seen the extended edition that came out recently?
No, I haven't, and I don't think I want to.

Story
What are your three favorite characters from the saga? Explain why.

Princess Leia! She is my absolute role model and girl hero (I say hero because I happen to have another hero by the name of Captain America hehe.) Anybody who doesn't like her is invited to stop reading immediately! She is smart, pretty, tiny, and knows how to fall in love the classic way.

Darth Vader is my favorite hero all time besides one villain from the Avengers...I don't need to explain why I love Darth Vader. Everybody loves Darth Vader!

Obi-Wan Kenobi is definitely my favorite character from the prequel trilogy. He is smart, has an awesome dry sense of humor, sticks to the book, and has some pretty good looks for bonus.

Is there a character who you find REALLY annoying?
I don't have a character who I find REALLY annoying, but I do think Luke and Jar Jar Binks a little annoying at times.  Luke isn't too bad in the last two episodes, but in A New Hope, he whines a lot.  Jar Jar Binks...well, let's just say I'm not sure exactly why George Lucas put him in the movie other than to be a way over the top comic sidekick, which brings us to the next question.

What are your feelings on Jar Jar Binks?
He is funny, but annoying too. I don't mind him in the movie that much, and I think he is great at times, but I definitely couldn't see him in the Original Trilogy. Do you get my point?

Which weapon would you use?
Uuuummm...a lightsaber. Definitely!

Naboo. I love Naboo, but Alderann is really pretty too!

Do you watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars?
I watched the last couple episodes online, but no...I haven't really been that into The Clone Wars, but I definitely am curious to see what happens to Darth Maul and Savage Opress.

Do you own any Star Wars related things (i.e. shirts, lightsabers,)
I own two Star Wars shirts and am planning to get another...other than that I don't really have anything besides two Star Wars decks of cards celebrating the 30th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back...sad, I know.

What do you think about Star Wars Episodes 7, 8, & 9?
Sad. Just sad.

Is Star Wars your absolute favorite movie?
Yes...and Lord of the Rings...so, no.

Top Five Favorite Characters from the Prequel Trilogy

Obi-Wan Kenobi

"I have a bad feeling about this." 

Obi-Wan is definitely the most awesome character in the prequel trilogy besides Emperor Palpatine in Revenge of the Sith. His dry sense of humor can be very funny sometimes as well as his attitude toward Anakin's style of flying. I really like him in The Phantom Menace because we get a little break from seeing him as a stick-to-the-book Jedi Master with a beard. I don't like him in Attack of the Clones as much believe it or not, because of his hair style, O_O hehe...awkward, but he looks a lot better in Revenge of the Sith, so it makes up for that. I thought it was really awesome to see Obi-Wan for the first time in the Prequel Trilogy after watching the Original Trilogy because I don't think we got to see his character develop enough for people to really like him.  Who thinks a ghost mentor is a great idea for character development? Hands up, people! 

One thing I love about Obi-Wan is is affection towards Anakin. In the Prequel Trilogy, you can tell he really loves Anakin as a brother but would never dare to show outright affection towards him. Another thing that amazes me is how well George Lucas matched up young Obi-Wan Kenobi to the old wizard Obi-Wan Kenobi. Applause for George Lucas!

Padme Amidala

" No, I call this an aggressive negotiation."

Padme never really appealed to me until Attack of the Clones. I still don't enjoy her that much in The Phantom Menace or Revenge of the Sith because of her character and role in the Trilogy. I do think George Lucas chose the perfect actor for resembling the mother of Leia...and maybe Luke...not so much though.  Padme is definitely smart and loyal, but I wouldn't call her a strong character. Part of it is I think she let herself fall in love with Anakin to easily. Even though she did admit she loved Anakin right before the arena in Attack of the Clones, I think she still didn't have a strong enough excuse to marry Anakin. I think that is one thing George Lucas could have worked on in the Prequel Trilogy because it was so essential that Padme and Anakin fall in love for Anakin's turn to the Dark Side. Still, Padme is awesome and definitely an important character in the Prequel Trilogy. After all, without her, Leia and Luke never would have existed! :D

Anakin

"This is where the fun begins!"
Smart...kind of, handsome (I still like Obi-Wan better), funny, strong...no wonder Padme fell in love with him! Anakin is definitely a fun character in the Prequel Trilogy though he can get somewhat annoying at times...we all know where Luke got his whining from, right? I think Haydn Christensen portrayed Anakin perfectly, though I do think he acts like he is drunk or something when he is swearing his allegiance to the Dark Side...which is what I want to talk about by the way. I think the best part of the Prequel Trilogy is Anakin's slow turn to the Dark Side. That's what makes Revenge of the Sith the most popular episode from the Prequel Trilogy. You can definitely see hints of the confusion inside of him during Attack of the Clones when he is trying to sort out his feelings for Padme, and even in The Phantom Menace when the Council is testing him. It all makes his final decision to turn to the Dark Side all the better! I like Anakin a lot, but his sometimes obnoxious behavior brought him down a few numbers on my favorites list.

Emperor Palpatine

"Henceforth, you shall be known as Darth....Vader."
Notice what I said. Emperor Palpatine. Not Chancellor Palpatine. I guess I really mean Darth  Sideous.  In the last four episodes of the Saga, Emperor Palpatine is the absolute evil that brings terror to the universe. He is just pure epicness, and that's why I love him! It's like Loki...except not so much. His whole plot to overtake the Senate is amazing and completely relies on Anakin and his willingness to listen like when Chancellor Palpatine orders him to kill Count Dooku and Anakin does. He is the most powerful Sith but was defeated by his own apprentice. Does that sound familiar? ...In Revenge of the Sith when Palpatine is telling Anakin about the Sith Lord who could keep the ones he loved from dying, but in the end, was destroyed by his apprentice. Cool thought!

Jango Fett

"I'm just a simple man, trying to make my way in the universe."

Jango Fett is pretty awesome, though I admit that I like Boba Fett better.  One reason I like him is actually because of the fight between him and Obi-Wan. All his accessories makes it really epic! ...that sounded pretty lame, but it really is a lot better than that. Another cool thing about Fett besides his armor is his relationship with Boba Fett. Boba's really just an unaltered clone, but one out of a million that Jango Fett chose to be his son. Then, also, there's the idea of an assassin wanting a son to take care of. That just sounds epic!

Top Five Favorite Characters from the Original Trilogy

 

Princess Leia 

"Will somebody get this big walking carpet out of my way?!"

          Who doesn't love Princess Leia? She is strong, smart, pretty, brave, and definitely not your normal damsel-in-distress. It isn't every day that we see an eighteen year-old girl standing up to the Sith lord, Darth Vader. I think Princess Leia was one of George Lucas' best characters for that and many other reasons like her character growth. In the beginning of A New Hope, we see this small, bossy young woman who won't take orders from anyone. At the end of Return of the Jedi, she is a  beautiful, understanding woman who knows that the world doesn't revolve around her. I love her even more for that. Her relationship with Han is another reason that makes her a strong character. You don't see many relationships like in the Original Trilogy today. Even the Prequel Trilogy doesn't have as strong and classic a romance as in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.  Many people after watching A New Hope would never think that Han Solo and Leia would ever have romance, but George Lucas definitely gave viewers a surprise when The Empire Strikes Back was released.  The only part where I don't enjoy Leia is in Jabba's Palace. Other than that, she is by far, my favorite character.

Han Solo

 "I love you!"

"I know."

      Han Solo is definitely the coolest guy in Star Wars.  His whole 'whatever' attitude definitely puts a little humor into the movie.  When we first see him in A New Hope, he is in the Cantina with his furry side-kick, Chewbacca, doing nothing really. From the very first, we can see that he doesn't care much for anybody or anything except for his Millennium Falcon and Chewbacca. Then, in the beginning of The Empire Strikes Back, we see that he is just maybe falling in love with Princess Leia and beginning to think about things besides his whole wonderful life of smuggling.  At the end of  Return of the Jedi, he is a completely different character, willing to and wanting to help. Another amazing character growth! Applause for George Lucas.

            My sister sometimes mentions sometimes that even though he is a favorite, he would really be an annoying person to be around in real life. Sadly, I have to agree with her.  In the movie, I'm totally like, "What's wrong with you, Leia!" but I'd probably would do exactly the same thing as her in the movie if I was in her place.Whoa. I'm talking about Leia again...hehe.  Overall, I really like Han, and I doubt Star Wars would be what it is if it wasn't for Han. :)

Darth Vader

          

"Luke, I am your father."

Darth Vader...do I really have to say anything other than he is THE best villain of all times...and Loki. Hold on...*looks at banner* Sorry, I forgot. Star Wars only. 

Before the Prequel trilogy came out, I'm sure everyone wanted to learn more about this mysterious character who turned out to be Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia's father. What happened to him? How did Obi-Wan Kenobi know about him? ...all those things. Even though I said Leia was one of George Lucas' best characters, I think it is right to say that Darth Vader is his best character. Just a thought...wouldn't it be awesome to be one of the first people to see Darth Vader step into the door of Tantive IV? 

Boba Fett

"Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold."

I don't have much to say about Boba Fett.  I think he is an awesome character in The Empire Strikes Back and even in Return of the Jedi though he dies. He is just a mysterious bounty hunter who is after Han Solo...nothing else, but he is still totally awesome.  His armor, jet packs, and everything make him all the more awesome. :D
I think it was really cool how George Lucas decided to put in a little history behind the bounty hunter. It makes his role in the last two episodes all the better.

C3PO & R2D2

"We're doomed."

I'm counting these two droids as one because they are always together in the Original Trilogy. C3PO and R2D2....two completely different characters but friends all the same. C3PO is the annoying pessimist who looks at situations in the worst possible way making him a comic sidekick in the movie. R2D2 is that droid who is useful in every situation, smart, and brave.  He is like an odd-job man...delivering a message from Leia to Obi-Wan Kenobi....turning off garbage compactors...helping Luke Skywalker...all those things. You can't really imagine either droid without the other unless you are watching The Phantom Menace, and that isn't an episode in the Original Trilogy, so never mind.  They are always together whether it is on Endor or Tatooine or cloud city. It's funny that R2D2 is usually the one who C3PO blames for their trouble, but it's really C3PO who is getting them in trouble with his stubborn, pessimistic attitude...and then of course R2D2 is the one who saves them from whatever scrape they got into until they meet the Ewoks...and you all know what happens there.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

This movie is probably the most intense, action-packed movie in the Star Wars Saga. This is one of my favorite episodes, and I must have watched the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan fight at least a thousand times.

Oops! Sorry! I meant to save it but accidentally posted it. O_O hehe

General Grievous is really cool, but I have to admit that my favorite character in this is Anakin.  I think Anakin is annoying in the first two, but I think in this one, he is totally epic.  Padme has a smaller role in this one, and I find her annoying though I am not exactly sure why.  Emperor/Chancellor Palpatine is really awesome, and Obi-Wan is still my favorite character. :D Embarrassingly, another of my favorite scenes is when Obi-Wan is giving baby Luke to Owen and Beru. I want to cry, squeal, laugh, and cry again. Then I have to go and watch A New Hope just to make sure that it turns out alright in the end.

This soundtrack is AMAZING. I love it, love it, love it. I listen to this one so much. According to iTunes, I have played Anakin vs. Obiwan 113 times. Some other top pieces are Star Wars and the Revenge of the Sith, Anakin's Dream, Anakin's Dark Deeds, and  A New Hope and End Credits.

The movie and soundtrack both get a 10.

Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones

Attack of the Clones definitely has an interesting plot with romance, Sith, clones, and Anakin! Anakin is definitely a different person in this movie...mostly because he is so much older. I find him somewhat annoying in this episode (Anakin is not my favorite character) but I think he has a huge resemblance to Luke in A New Hope which is pretty cool. They both whine...a little XD...they both want adventure and excitement...they both fall in love with a girl...they both try to save the girl...yup. I think that is pretty cool.  

The romance in this one isn't as smooth a romance as in the Original Trilogy, but I think George Lucas did do an excellent job.  John Williams also contributed to the romance with the amazing theme, Across the Stars. I love this piece and play it a million times everyday. Some other memorable pieces are Anakin and Padme, The Tusken Camp and the Homestead, and Love Pledge and the Arena. 

Overall, I would give this movie a nine and the soundtrack a ten.

You get the picture right? Stormtrooper 365 is a set by Stefan, who took a picture of these two stormtroopers every day for a year starting April 3, 2009 and ending April 4, 2010. Stefan is also doing some on Indiana Jones, Boba Fett, and Admiral Ackbar. Check it out!

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

This movie is definitely different from the Original Trilogy because of the animation, characters, and time.  I think of all the episodes, this is probably my least favorite.  I don't hate it like many people do, but I do think it is the weakest episode.  Still it does have some exciting concepts in it such as we meet the young Darth Vader or Anakin when he was a boy, Luke and Leia's mother, Padme, Obi-Wan Kenobi, who is a character we already know from the Original Trilogy, the epic Darth Maul, Chancellor Palpatine, who is  the person behind the whole Galactic Empire, and then Jar-Jar Binks.

"Dissen berry berry bad!"

Many old Star Wars fans (by old I mean the people who watched the Original Trilogy in theaters when it was released) find Jar-Jar Binks extremely annoying.  I do think he is a somewhat strange sidekick for Star Wars, but he isn't half as bad as some people say he is.  In fact, I think some of the funniest scenes involve Jar-Jar Binks and his clumsiness. 

The music by John Williams is excellent (of course!) and exciting. Some memorable pieces are Dual of the Fates, Anakin's Theme, Panaka and and the Queen's Protectors, and Qui-Gon's Noble End.

Overall I would give the movie a nine and the soundtrack, a ten.
